President & CEO
Bill joined Senior Advisory Group in January 2013 and serves as the company’s President & CEO. He has brought energy, experience, and a unique perspective to the business. He has extensive experience in the insurance and financial services arena in sales, management, and leadership. As an advisor he has expertise in personal, business, and advanced markets and has been a multiple year member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) as well as achieving other company specific sales awards. As a leader he has a track record of recruiting and developing successful insurance and financial professionals and has achieved recognition such as GAMA’s Frontline Leader Award and Prudential’s Presidential Citation. He has also served on multiple insurance company advisory boards. Bill is a former professional baseball player, coach, and scout and currently coaches USSSA Baseball. He is also a registered player agent for the Major League Baseball Players Association. He resides in Peoria, AZ with his wife Julie and their two boys Kaden and Nathan.
Chief Operating Officer
Janel joined Senior Advisory Group as the Director of Administrative Operations in January of 2010. She brought with her years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in the annuity market. She has great attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency. She has trained many new business teams, and has consulted with insurance companies on contracting and new business processing best practices. In her new role, Janel will oversee the daily operation of the business and will continue to manage the new business team who help advisors with back-office needs by ensuring new business applications, policy holder service requirements and contracting submitted through Senior Advisory Group are accurate and processed in a timely fashion.
Janel is one of the few Arizona Natives you will find. When Janel is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike and traveling. Her two babies, Dolce and Bentley (of the furry descent) take up much of her time. She also loves the art of cooking and trying new recipes.
Sales & Marketing Consultant
Jim started his financial services career as a registered representative in 1997. Jim was a very successful advisor but soon realized that he wanted to transition to wholesaling and began a successful career promoting variable annuities for some of the world’s largest insurance companies. In 2007, he switched his focus to fixed indexed annuities. “Variables can still be a great option, but too many people lost nearly 50% of their retirement savings twice since 2000,” says Jim. “I want to help educate agents on the different options that exist that can protect their clients’ nest egg from loss, but still have an opportunity for modest growth.”
Realizing that no single product works for every person, Jim studies each product offered through Senior Advisory Group to come up with the best solution for agents and their clients.
A native of Los Angeles, Jim graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Political Science. He and his wife, Stephany (also a U of A grad) moved to Arizona in 2000. They currently live in Scottsdale with their daughter, Grace.
Sales & Marketing Consultant
After growing up in the Midwest and then moving to Southern California, Brook graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1995 with a major in Advertising. With 19 years of Sales and Marketing experience, Brook entered the financial services industry in 2003 working for a medium sized, privately held bank in Scottsdale. As a former Licensed Loan Officer and Property and Casualty Producer, Brook’s experience in working directly with the clients translates well to the wholesale side of the Annuity Business. His consultative approach to sales ensures that he is going to take the time to understand the big picture, not just with your individual clients, but with your practice as well. Using his background in advertising and marketing, he is adept at assisting advisors in the development of a customized marketing plan that is always “Client-centric”. With his attention to detail, thirst for product knowledge, and sense of urgency, Brook has won the respect and business of agents and advisors throughout the country. Says Brook, “My business philosophy is pretty simple... I treat people the same way I want to be treated – with honesty, integrity and credibility.” Outside the office, Brooks enjoys golfing, water skiing and coaching Little League Baseball. Brook resides in Cave Creek with his wife Tiffany and their three children Kylie, Briggs and Palmer.
Sales & Marketing Consultant
Ashley is Senior Advisory Group’s Licensing and Contracting Specialist. She is one of the first team members an advisor speaks to when they join the firm. She ensures advisor contracting paperwork, training requirements, state licensing, compliance and any other contracting issues are handled as quickly as possible. In addition to contracting, she also oversees commissions as well as the administrative side of the iCampaign program.
Originally from Michigan, she relocated to Arizona in 2008 and brings with her extensive experience in Sales, Marketing and Administration as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In her free time, she enjoys watching the Michigan State Spartans and spending time with her 10 month old son, Mason.
New Business Manager
Lisa joined the Senior Advisory Group team in 2006 and is our New Business Manager. In this role, she is responsible for processing new business applications, speaking with carriers to make sure that applications are processed in a timely fashion, and staying in contact with agents to give frequent updates. Her primary goal is to ensure that the entire process runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible, all while providing excellent customer service. Originally from northeast Iowa, Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Loras College. Prior to joining Senior Advisory Group, she was a 4th Grade Teacher and also spent several years in the customer service and administrative industry. She and her husband, Travis have been married for 8 years and have 2 young children, Gavin and Rylie. When she’s not in the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, playing softball and cheering on the Hawkeyes.
New Business Case Manager
Tiffany is dedicated to handling the new business process and advisor customer service. She manages her caseloads quickly, efficiently, and with attention to detail. Tiffany was born in New Jersey and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona at a young age. She earned her Associate's Degree in Applied Science from the University of Phoenix. Prior to joining Senior Advisory Group, Tiffany worked as administrative support in the healthcare industry and has several years of customer service experience. When Tiffany is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling and watching sports.
